Macrozoobenthos of Lakes Beloe and Kolyvanskoe (Northwestern Altai) and the main ecological factors of its formation

In comparison with the large volume of work on lakes located in lowland territories, only scattered information about their ecosystems was available for foothill (low-mountain) areas, both Russia and worldwide. Foothill differ significantly from high-mountain physical biological properties. May, July September 2022, current state Lakes Beloe Kolyvanskoe studied north-west Altai (Russia). The composition structure macrozoobenthos, as well main ecological factors its formation (morphometric, hydrochemical) are revealed. A total 90 species benthic invertebrates 8 classes were found zoobenthos. Zoobenthos Lake represented most diverse compare to Kolyvanskoe. terms zoobenthos biomass, corresponded mesotrophic lakes.
